FIRST PLOT INSPECTION: SATURDAY, MAY 7, 2022
1. PLEASE review all of the rules regarding plot maintenance and inspections, in particular Rules 5, 6, 8, 11 and 12.
2. Plot inspections are held on the first Saturday of every month.
3. On the first inspection in May, there must be evidence of cultivation as noted in Rule 3.1 and 3.2.
OVER-HEIGHT TREES
Please note: Rule 8.1 Plot renters shall not plant non-fruit bearing trees on plots. Fruit bearing trees are limited to 2.13 meters (7 feet) in height while dormant, must be on dwarf stock, and cast minimal shade on another plot.
STRUCTURES/FENCES
Please remember that if you are building any new structure or fence on your plot, that you must obtain approval from the board. There is a form available on the website to submit to directors@baraga.ca. Please review the rules also regarding fence height and placement.
WATER
It is now more important than ever that we limit our watering and take very good care of our irrigation system.
DO NOT
leave water hoses running unattended
allow leaking in hoses, bibs or taps
Use sprinklers
DO
Use a watering can
Store water in water barrels
Water wisely
Report any leaks in the irrigation system and turn off the main line to that leak.
