About BARAGA

The Burnaby and Region Allotment Gardens Association manages a community garden located in the Big Bend region of the City of Burnaby. The land area (most of which is gardened) is about 330 metres by 180 metres. This 5.9 hectare garden is part of the approximately 250 hectares of Burnaby land which is within the  4.7 million hectare British Columbia Agricultural Land Reserve.

There are 372 garden plots. Each plot is 1000 sq ft (93 sq m) with plots measuring 50ft by 20ft.
